how good are the non intercooled magnachargers?

Default how good are the non intercooled magnachargers?

hey guys,
i'm bout to buy a power adder for my truck.i was looking at the non intercooled magnacharger.what kinda gains are peeps getting with this kit?
if i don't get that kit,i'm getting an sts turbo kit.i have an 06 crewcab 5.3 silvy.

Both superchargers are the same but the intercooler will deliver cooler, denser air into the cylinder and allow more timing=more potential.
Just spend the $ and get the intercooled version.
As far as gains, you could achieve a rwhp of ~500 with all the right supporting mods.

I do not have experience with the non I/C version, but you want all the help you can get to keep IATs low. The intercooler is worth the extra $ IMO. How much power do you want?

I agree, get the intercooler as long as your spending your money. On those warmer days you'll be glad you did.

well i'm not out to break any hp records are set any track records.i just wanted some more power for when i'm cruising down the interstate with my 12ft trailer and my 2 bikes.
i'm not into the racing scene much anymore.just wanna pull my drag bikes down the interstate with some more oomph behing the 5.3!!

Charles, I would highly suggest the intercooled system if you are going to tow. Give me a call, we can help you out with product knowledge and customer service that will even beat the OTHER guys.....Not to mention a damn good price as well.
