Anybody ever hooked up a boost safety on an lsa supercharger? I have the innovate psb-1 that can activate a boost safety and was wondering if anyone had done it before.

Pulls boost if afr is off. I think it's more for high boost. I just run a good fuel regulator and 2 pumps and don't worry.

 

You could use a Mac valve wastegate solenoid on the bypass actuator line if you wanted to.

 

I have done it on the lt4 for some customers I tune for as it has a factory abuse valve so double port. We used the aem flow valve on methanol so that if the meth doesn’t flow it will open the bypass. I have an lsa on my 07 Tahoe but have not looked at it or the bypass in a while to see if can work on that or not. 200k on the motor now over 70k with boost and still kicking. Lol I have run it pretty lean a few times and yet to hurt this 5.3. I’m 10 psi minimum and sometimes on 14 psi with it depends on pulley I’m running. Been towing my boat so it’s on low boost at moment.

 

Probably going to just skip it. Doesn't seem necessary in this set up
