Zippy nailed it on the head, you are over loading the intercooler....they send out a unit designed for a stock 4.8L and 5.3L running 6psi...not for a 370 with 10-12psi...I would bet thats your problem....the intercooler cant keep up with the boost and heat levels

I know people have put bigger heat exchangers, but has anyone gone to a larger reservoir? Or is methanol pretty much the only option?

I went with both a larger heat exchanger and a larger Vortec reservoir. Both helped some.

Agreed, but Maggie says they did their homework and the system is more than adequate for higher boost larger displacement apps. I had long chats with these guys before going with the 370 and they actually suggested a 383-402 wud be a great idea. There is some question about compression tho...now they say 9.4 might be a bit lo, but when I started the build I was told 9 was what they wanted. We'll play around with that, the cam and pulley up and down to find the right combination. Its gonna take a while but I'll pin it down.
Maggie was shipped with a 3.0 pulley.
Bypass is workin like it shud.

IAT's were @ 170* @ 7psi before meth guys. Also as I stated, Maggie says the thing is DESIGNED to spin at much higher RPM and shud really wake the motor up at higher boost levels (11-12psi). If the I/C cudn't handle higher boost on a mere 370, then thats a design issue and nothing to do with my motor. I guess it all comes down to how they tested - real world or otherwise...

I'm not ready to spend cash on something that might help a "bit". I'm gonna work with Brian and see what Maggie is gonna do. If the I/C or heat exchanger isn't a realistic size/capacity then all our R&D is worth something and we'll work it out together.

Have you confirmed your TB is opening 100%? no expanation for IAT's I guess, and you'd be limited on boost, just curious

Have you tried just simply replacing the IAT sensor to be sure its not the problem?

I'll start with a 3.2 or 3.0 pulley

Nope...but I do have that little doo-hickey of DrX's...but as I changed the whole unit over to WCCH's when I put the 122 on as Richards was so much cleaner inside and out. I never switched the controller back out so it wud work...but it sure won't be worth all the ponies I want. R/
