I really appreciate all the brainstorming guys
! As I mentioned earlier, I'm gonna drive it for a about a month as is and head back up to Slowhawk for an update. At that point we'll have done a little more R&D (altho Grippy will prob still be on jackstands!) the weather will be nice and cool (40's & 50's
) and we'll do some cam & pulley combination work. In the meantime maybe someone else will get one of these running and we can get some comparative notes exchanged. R/

Looking at your graph, your TQ and HP #'s fall off pretty early during the pull. I know it is obvious
, but it is a sure sign of High IAT's and or pulled spark (among othere things). How was your boost #'s / MAP during the pull (especially over 5K)?
...following this thread, great discussion.

I think I would go to a larger pulley and try more timing.

Here is what I see
Blower is running too friggin hot, probly overspun since 8lbs made the same power but about 40-50 degree's cooler which we bould run 18-20degree's of timing. This run started at 140 intake temp and ended at 184 intake temp.
The biggest thing is that the motor combo probly just isn't right.Maybe the Cam was put in with way too much advance or something.
Also a note- when we got the truck is had way too much timing and A/F was at 12.5-1.The timing was at 24-26 degree's and pinging like a ***** which left a nice smoke cloud behind it at WOT.(rings fluttering from too much timing advance)Also 2 cylinder were not firing due to burn't wires.
I'm sure if we get our hands on it this winter we can get the power with a correct Cam/compression setup.Another thing to look at id the Cats, they could of collapsed under the old tune.

......I was going to mention the cats as well, and at this point I'd check them just to be safe side, I surely wouldn't want to be driving my truck around for a month with jacked up cats.
