Oh yeah, I do remember. I also remember you saying you had to pulley down a notch to get the same boost when you changed from the mp112 to the 112hh on your truck. I also seem to recall the 122hh only has about ~10% more displacement (with more efficient rotors) and is still small for a max effort 370ci engine.

What diameter crank pulley does this have on it? Lets see how many rpms its turning. Anyone have compressor maps for the 122hh?

not sure of the crank pulley, the blower is good for 22K or so. I have a feeling he is up against other issues besides the blower that are adding to the IAT issues. Looking at the HP numbers, one could only assume that there is more than just one problem when MP112 base blowers are making over 500 rwhp.

22000

Depending on his shift points and that crank pulley, he might be getting close. I think I was spinning mine over 18000, which is way past its efficient range.

22000 is an "un-spoken" rpm. I know it is way beyond where EATON/magnuson tests them.

I've really got to see some maps and efficiency data. After owning 2 whipples with "the most efficient rotors man can create", I'm now skeptical. l could cook dinner with one of those babies.

How much timing can you safely run on 93 octane gas without driving up higher IATs? I'm running 17 right now...

at the HH acros.

I'll have to have Slowhawk answer what crank pulley we went with. One thing that obvious is that IAT's run high with these blowers. My set-up seems to have an issue as well that cud very well be the cam, and it'll get addressed once I can part with the truck again (2days ALWAYS turns into 2 wks!). That said, even when I ran the MP112 on my 5.3 IATs were hi 160's to 170*. It seems to me that this is something that needs to be adressed from the engineers as my R&D budget is in deficit now. Tough to diagnose from 3000 miles away, but if I were the manufacturer I'd be very interested in speaking to guys like my tuner/builder and Grippy and sorting out all these teething pains. I'm spending all the cash, they need to get on board and offer to review the tune, engine/heads/cam specs...etc. Its not their fault, but with 2 of their blowers, I'm doing my part. It'll all get figured out eventually, but my wife is really gaining the upper hand here!

Depends,I ran 18 with 7lbs and now it can only take 14 degree's at 11-12lbs.Each vehicle is diiferent. Of course on the dyno I could push the timing with cooling down the engine but it would knock to death on the street.
