Default High boost misfire. Help

So tonight I tried to race my buddies 2012 camaro. Hit the high boost switch and I got a weird *** cough. Around 4500-5000rpm you can watch the tac flicker with the cough. But on low boost it pulls strong. After it cool (while bullshitt'n) I tried it again and it pull a lot better. But I tried it right after and it misfire all over again. Only in high boost ever time. Wires are a year old now. Spark plugs are... Well I couldn't tell ya. Couple years maybe.

Indicated boost on the gauge looked steady. Afr looked steady. Just the misfire and the tac.

Would start with pulling the plugs and seeing what they look like. Check all the gaps.

Do you have HP Tuners or EFI Live where you can monitor missfire or KR?

I left my lap top at home tonight. Was angry about that. I'm going to pull the manifold tomorrow to fix a few cracks. So I'll pull the plugs when I do that.

Your afr didn't change when this happened? What's high boost? What plugs are in it and what gap?

My wife was watching the Afr gauge and she was telling me what it said. But soon as the misfire got bad I let out. Well indicated boost is a little off from logged boost. But in second it was just below 15 and in third when right before it would act up it was just above 15. I'm running just the same ole tr6's (iirc the one step folder plugs) I always have. For the past 6 months I've been forced to be on low boost due to the t-case. This was really the first high boost since then.

We went for some ruff off roading playing in the mud the other day. And my small crack is gettng loud. So I wonder if it's spraying hot gases on the wires and heating them up.

Go to br7ef plugs gapped at .028 or so. I bet that helps or solves it

Well I'll be damned, sure enough. First plug I took out looks just like the "too hot" pick in the helms manual. White parts is blistered.

Ya, 15psi is a bit much for a TR6. I would go to some BR7ef, non projected 7. Do you have meth?

I had problems sputtering in my high boost which is only 10 psi. Finally figured out it was the plug gap. So I regapped the tr6s I had in the time to .030 or something and all was well. Then I went to a bigger turbine turbo and low and behold the problem came back and even at a slightly lower boost level. The new turbo was letting the engine flow so much more air it was blowing out spark again. That's when I changed to the br7efs and hadn't looked back since.
