The reason you dont understand it is because its false. I would not put nitrous on a high compression motor. It does run good on more compression, but you will have to treat it like boost. So if the compression is modest, then it will run good. But i would not build a nitrous setup with lots of compression.

Gotta remember, Oxygen doesn't burn. It takes Fuel, Heat and oxygen to burn.

(If you just add extra oxygen to the system without any additional fuel it would go extremely lean)

Takes both.

The POWER comes from the fuel, yes you need both to burn....

Thats what I have always thought. Boost and nitrous are very close in what they both do... add oxygen, even if boost is 20.9% and nitrous is 33%
