even when i put the metco pulleys on it does the same thing. with these they ride in the center, but still arent the same side by side. if that makes sense.

Do you know what length belt you are using right now? You may want to try the Dayco PolyCog belt the same length as I have had huge success with them. If you have the length I can cross reference it and give you the polycog number. Are you still using a 6 groove?

Look at the last 4 numbers on the belt. How tight is the belt, is the tension real tight, in the middle or loose?

napa - pn 25-061140
gates -pn k-061120

napa - pn 25-061140 - 114"
gates -pn k-061120 - 112"

5061115 - 111.5"
5061120 - 112"
5061130 - 113"

Make sure to go and tell them you need the performance version of the belt as they have an economy version too. PepBoys has them and can do a special order if they are not a stocked size, they also have a lifetime warranty. I tell my customers to get 2 and change them out every 6 months on a daily driver.

It's not belt tension causing this. It has to be the offset of the supercharger pulley and/or the axis of the supercharger and/or the idlers pulleys. It is unlikey the supercharger is off-axis since it has to bolt square to the intake and the heads, but the pulley could be set back too far. My focus would be on the driverside of the two idler pulleys and checking the axis of that. Maybe it's not square, looks like it could be pointing up. Check that everything squares up.

The gates belts will start to squeak as soo as they have a glaze on them. When he said he was getting alot of belt dust then the squeak I would look at the belt and slip issues.

Once you change the pulley's then you should just get the tightest belt you can comfortably get on. If you can get the 112" on easy I would put the 111.5" on. If they have them in stock try a few different sizes in the parking lot, I would guess the 111.5" will work for yours. The last 4 numbers in the part number are the length.
