i picked up a zero mile 6.0l with forged rods and pistons arm main studs and all the goodies for 3k guy said it was built for boost and 1000hp i need to know what are the best heads for it with a bw s480 build
i have a set of 862's clean them up valve job port and polish for around 500
should i find some cheap 317's
or i found a set of 243's in nh for 350 and then valve job pp and use those?

What dish size is in the piston? Shoot for around 9:1 compression. Nothing wrong with 317s or 243s, or even some L92s. Depends what intake you want to run and how much you want to spend.

Wiseco Forged -11cc Dished Pistons for 4.030" Bore, Stock 3.622" Stroke, Part Number K444X3, includes file fit GFX rings and .927" diameter pins. 1.300" compression height for 6.125" long rods. exact piston info
i was thinking either the pro flow or vic jr with an elbow and 90mm havent decided yet

The 317 is going to give you ~9.2scr and the 243 will give ~9.8scr depending on deck height and head gasket. I would consider one of these two out of your list as they will flow very similar. Make your choice off if you plan to run high cr/low boost or high boost/low cr.

I'd go with the 821's. Seems like a no brainer to use the heads you have which are known to flow better than the other options while keeping compression nice and low (similar to a 317).
Have them cleaned up a little like you said and have at it. They have a huge intake flow bias though... not sure how that plays out with a turbo or if it matters.
I'll let Atomic handle that one.
This wouldnt happen to be a white chevy would it? SS bumper? Maybe in the Beech ridge races? I think I've seen you at NED, and possibly seen the truck listed on CL if so.

What are the pros and cons of each? Throttle response I'm sure is better on high compression, but what else?

That is a highly debated topic on here. It all depends on the goals and purpose of the truck. The general consensus is low boost/high cr for a daily or street vehicle that sees a good bit of out of boost driving or high boost/low cr for a max effort race application. Fueling plays a part in it as well when it comes to detonation resistance.
