i have a friend with a 04 1500 hemi single cab and wants to buy a sts.is it too hard to install can it be done at his house garage?? he will be getting the upgraded turbo and the intercooler, also who makes gears for that car

as you see i have a 04 gto and have no idea when it comes to pickup mods or anyother car but mines lol ,but i have installed superchargers before will this turbo be diffrent/harder to install?

from what i understand its a bolt on kit with very minimal custom work. any do it yourselfer should be able to get it right

 

They are very easy to install and require no specialty tools.
Plan on 6 hours for 2 people to complete the deal. One thing, if you do decide on the STS kit talk to Hemifever and SRT10KLLR, they have the goods ( bigger injectors, piggyback timing/fuel controller, and 2bar MAP ) that make the kit complete for boost levels over the stock 5psi. Trust me, you will get addicted to the increased power levels and the SMT6 piggyback will keep your engine/pistons very happy.
