Has anyone turbo'd a ls motor s-series?

I am wanting to turbo the 01 blazer. Currently I have the following mods
2006 6.0 lq4
227/227 .614 115lsa lsl cam
"cold air intake"
2 lt1 electric fans
Sanderson shorty swap headers
x pipe and Magnaflow y muffler
Stock intake
stock 317 heads with spring and trunion upgrade
built 4l60e with Vigilante 3200 multidisc converter
8.8 with 4.10 gear 31 spline axles
275/50/15 drag radials.
Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks in rear
78mm dual stage NITROUS OUTLET plate
36lb injectors
walbro 255 intank pump
I thought about getting a kbracing or tick performance turbo kit but just now saw the deadline on the "special pricing"
I am sure someone has done it or knows someone who has done it. I understand that I will need to upgrade my fuel system of course. But as far as the turbo setup that is where I kick my self in the nuts. This will be my first time with a turbo setup and I do not feel comfortable fabrication everything myself. I feel that I may do something that will make it not work effectively.
I want to turbo the vehicle. But I do feel discouraged and might just swap the cam out and put a more nitrous friendly cam in it, change the intake manifold out and maybe some other things and just spray the guys out of it. I am wanting to try and go some 6.30's in the 1/8. I have gone 7.30's right now on S/s with no traction bars or anything and not shooting until after the 60ft mark.
I am going to change out front suspension because I am unloading the rear with current stock shocks.
Sorry for the babble. But I would like someone to steer me away from nitrous and go the goal of constant 600rwhp with current setup until internals are changed.

Because of your space constraints.. and I know I own a turbo'd second gen 4.3 blazer x and a ls6 blazer x.. you would be better off remote mounting it. As much as I dislike the idea.. it's honestly the best choice there is so little room under the hood and even less room for the down pipe.. It's what I have debated doing. It's a way's off if I do one though shop is booked up as it is.

Could always cut the hood and let part of the snail stick out. That would look cool!
But i remember seeing a 95 s blazer with a remote mount turbo kit. It was built by TRT ( texas rear turbos) . Not sure if they are still in business, but they use to be on LS1truck dot com.
Have you looked on S10forum??

Yea, I found some people I have been going back and forth with. I am waiting for a guy from ls1tech to get back with me. He has a sts rear mount kit for an f-body and I figure that will be a good start. I can modify stuff from there.

Very nice man. Unfortunately I have a blazer and that killer setup wont fair well with me.
BUT UPDATE! I talked to a 2 shops today that I overlooked on doing a couple of setups already local. So, It will be a custom layout. Here are the parts so far that has been picked out
BORG WARNER s400-75 or maybe an 80
JGS wastegate
jgs, tial or turbosmart BOV.
An extra walbro 255 in tank and maybe a boost a pump also for fuel. Not including injectors
Undecided on going intercooled (space is hard) or meth injected.
But, it does like look it will be a reality very soon. Just need to start researching on where to order parts from
