When does HPT plan on releasing the scan only version? Or would I just be better off buying the full version, even though I have no intention of messing with this tune?
Ran to work this morning and eveerything is fine. It only seems to behave badly when I've been driving for 50+ miles and then only when not in tc lock at aound 50mph. Got to be a software-not hardward problem, huh?

You can buy a scan only version of EFILive for $250 for a V1 controller, or $400 for the new V2 controller (it's the shiznit!
). You can always upgraded to the full version at any time (it's only an emailed, unlock key), plus you can hook up a wide band to either of them (which you can't on HPT $500 version). My guess would be your getting some timing pull from knock retard.

Ok, I think I figured it out.
At WOT or higher rpms my A/F is 11.9 but at partial throttle at low rpm it is ~10.3 I think it's just too rich and lugging at low speed.
I just made the same 70 mile trip and it ran like a **** all the way home. I guess a little street tuning next week will fix me up.
(Trans temp is low
IAT is low with 50* ambient temp, charger and coolant cool to touch. )
I contacted HPT by email today regarding the scanner, they replied saying it will be released soon but dont have a date yet
It has been upp on their web site for a while already.
