try those new plug and play 60's. also why such a small turbo? whats the exhaust side on that thing? seems tiny for that many cubes. i had one that size on my 5.3l it spooled fast as **** but i had to shift at 5000rpm because it ran out of breath. that was at 10psi. at 13 i think it just made more heat. not alot of power difference. so i swapped for a tc78. spool is almost just as fast but power went WAY up and the old turbo is going on my honda.

also my stock fuel pump and 60's were good on my old turbo at 10psi but with the new one at 10psi it was way out of juice. pressure would drop to about 40psi. so i just added a second fuel pump in there and wired it to a hobbs switch. now it comes on when i need it and fuel pressure is good. but i did go return style as well so that the regulator is at the rails now.

when i say created heat i mean hot *** intake temps. so yeah it affects power due to not being able to use as much timing. how much is that turbo your looking at? the tc78 i got was less than a grand. and well worth it!!! i would run water/meth over there too. the dry *** air over there would make the water/meth work great. i was over there for a bit and i remember being hot as hell but didn't look like i was sweating at all.
