Come on Alton, you dont like power do you?
He is being modest. '93 rcsb, 413ci all forged, 4l80, fuddle, 2 step, etc...
New paint, interior, suspension, custom paint under the hood, custom bumper, grill full of fmic.
His truck will be BAD A$$!!
My opinion: a purpose built truck like the one we are doing for Alton will be easily faster with the turbo. On the street, everyday driver I think most would like the instant response with the sc. Doesnt mean I think its better that STS. The turbo drives completely stock until you get in it; maintains or improves mpg, and sounds better in the "whistle" dept.

A turbo will help gas milage. It will help you use more gas, or if you don't drive it in boost all the time it will help save gas. I think it is because the truck (mine anyway) will stay in O.D up EVERY hill. So I have no down shift, no high rpm hill climbs, and better MPG. Plus it sounds bad a$$ when the turbo gets a load on it. The throttle petal stays in the same position, but the turbo starts spinning faster (spooling), and if the hill is big enough it will start making boost to get over the hill. Sound cool, but this is why IMO a turbo is at least twice as hard to tune as a s.c.
