Getting a few more things done, to save some time this weekend, I have assembled as much as I can on the SC. TB, Injectors, Fuel rails, Pulley, Map sensor. Save me about an hour and a half of work this weekend
so far. Front with TB and rails installed, with pulley on now.
Fancy billet fuel rails
Top Front with TB and rails installed, with pulley on now.
Drivers side with injectors and rails in.
Back side of SC< map/IAT/etc
Passenger side with injectors and rails in.
I will be installing my new Air intake filter, the heat exchanger and a few other odds and ends in the evenings this week, to save time when we crack the top open ! =)
Looking at the install guide, I think the fuel lines easily go around things in the front, and no issues what so ever in the back. From looking on my block, it doesn't look as if it would be in the way of anything on the front of the intake area at all.
Yea I would guess its fine. The alternator is close and the bracket is generally a fairly tight fit. You'll have your idler bracket and belt in the way too, but it seems itll be tucked back enough to be OK.
the snout on that thing sticks waaay out there, so it sits a bit further back than you think. .Also off of the front will be two hoses ( the blue caps ) going to the inter-cooler with L bracket type fittings that will screw on there.

Well.. looong weekend.. Got it up and running, and ready to take to the tuners in the morning.
Getting started, getting everything un-hooked and unplugged
Everything Is unplugged, getting ready to live the intake off.
Taking the tape off that protected the ports on the bottom of the SC getting ready to put it in.
Bit of the dirt under the intake after it was removed.. just gotta clean it up.
Not as dirty as I thought it would be.
Ran into a snag putting the intake on..seems the lift tab is on the back side of the driver side heads, has to be removed before the fuel rail will fit.
Lift tab left on from the factory, On the drivers side head, Has a single 15mm bolt, and an index pin that holds it in, had to be removed before I could put the super-charger on.
Got the inter-cooler take all hooked up
just need to get the throttle body set on and torqued down.
Getting there, Just needs the fuel rails adjusted and the TB put on.
Inter-cooler reservoir tank.
Got the inter-cooler take all hooked up
Ready to upload the tune and get her running
And a video of getting it all started up and running.
We did have a small hiccup before the startup video, I turned the key and we sprouted a fuel leak and pressure hit the rails.. I had to pull the passenger side rail and adjust the brackets to have the rails sit lower.
Got some good driving around with the start up tune, ran about a 1/4 of a tank through it, making sure I didn't have any vacuum leaks, or other surprises. It is running rich as hell, but not quite enough to set a code, and it is much safer to run rich than lean =).
I have not gone more than about 20 or 30% throttle yet, or over about 4500 rpm till I get it to the tuner in the morning, but what Little I have done, it is damned impressive. We did a small 25%-30% throttle pull down the street and I hit 80 way faster than I expected, especially with out breaking over 4500 rpm. At part throttle like that it is on the verge of breaking loose on shifts 1-2, 2-3, and felt close it in on the 3-4 shift as well.
I should have full info on the power output and things tomorrow after work when I pick up my truck. Having a local shop here do it. The owners name is Bill and he has setup some of the corvettes for the tv show Pinks... so I think I am in safe hands... Arizona Elite Motorsports and Dyno.
