I'll get a pic tonight if no one posts one. BigTex is running the SSR 90TB. Sent him a PM a few weeks ago,...must be busy with a new project

Here's a couple of pics of the LS2 TB on an 03 truck setup. I've tried it with various pedals, TAC modules, etc., and they all seem to look just like this. It's not open 100%, but I'd call it a good 90% at least.

I can only guess that this is about how far it opens on any 03-05 truck; I don't think you can get 100% on any of them.
BUT, I also gotta think that a 90mm TB open to 90% (or whatever the percentage actually is) will flow a lot more air than a 78mm at 100%. I also think that the big power numbers and IAT reductions that were achieved on the dyno testing of this setup were achieved with the TB opening no farther than the one pictured above. I don't know that for sure, but since I've looked at this situation here in the shop, they all look like they open the same amount (just like in the pictures).

That is exactly how far it opens on the LS2 SSR also. Now with the same computer and a different Operating System in the GTO and C6 it will open the full 100%. I do agree that it still flows way more then the stock Throttle Body while opening this much.

that's why I asked BC with his dyno sheet he gave for this mod and the GT2-3 was this the same scenario? Interesting...guess it goes without saying guys, you can't have a mod without losing something. LOL It's obvious that the larger tb will flow better @90% than the 78 @100% due to the HP/IAT #'s but I wonder what exactly the cfm difference is. Does anybody have cfm specs on the 78mm and then the 90mm? I mean you theoretically for comparison purposes only just multiply the 90mm's cfm rating by 90%. Again, nothing specific, whose to say it really is 90%, maybe 88% or 95%, but you see what I am asking?
