i've seen where MTI's made some big numbers with TVS1900s on LS3 & LS7, so i don't think it'd be all that bad if you had to stick with the smaller one.

If the truck is light enough and you put a small stall conerter with it those gears should be an issue for a street truck. Some 3.73s would be ideal but the 3.23s won't be a disaster simply because if the tq that 2300 will make... I would consider a jackshaft model so you can underdrive it if need be on the 5.3 and overdrive it on the stroker

Honestly Atomic, I dont have any hp goals but if you made me put a number on it 500 "streetable" hp would be nice. This is my daily driver. I figure a fairly tame 408 with a 2300 should put me there. By streetable I mean no big cam or stall...I've ended up there on my last 3 vehicles and i guess im getting to old for that now, Im so over rough idle, loud exhaust, big stall and trans that snaps ur neck in traffic. Idk maybe what I want is out of the question
