Default Gen V Supercharge fueling

I just purchased a TVS 1900 that will come with the 6.2 pulley and not sure what boost level that will produce with headers and a large catback but I am looking to go up in boost as in 8 psi.
My question is will the stock fuel system keep up the demand @ 8 psi or will I need to install the LT-1 DI pump and injectors? I wanna do this once while the manifold is off so any and all information, comments are welcome.

Congrats! I don't think 8 lbs. is any issue whatsoever with a stock fuel system even with headers. I would do the LT4 pump and injectors because you will want more later everybody does, and then you wont have to remove the blower and manifold to do the pump. If I knew this before I would've waited and done the pump and injectors with the blower. I don't want to remove this freaking blower to replace the pump so I'm just gonna do injectors until I move to a 6.2 engine. IMHO.

FYI,

Ted is talking about the high pressure pump.

The low pressure pump is in the tank and has a FPCM running it.

There are 2 pumps on Gen V's.

Thanks i'm pretty excited about it, and I also have a takeout 6.2 Gen V for this truck or another project so I will most likely do the LT4 pump and injectors with the 6.2 engine install. So If i can get away with it now I will wait. thanks

You will have to remove the blower to do this too.

I'm theoretically at around 550 rwhp (whipple 2.9) stock fuel system except for unrestricted hp feed fuel line.

at 8 psi things were ok, but now at 11.5 and injector pw is too much, hpfp pressure at 23 mpa (too high)

following KB Silverado, I am putting an lt4 cam (bigger fuel lobes) and 6.2 injectors.

I'm fine with the 550 or so rwhp, just need a safer fuel supply setup. I don't think that the $1900 fuel pump is necessary. cam and springs were less than $300 )

good luck with it

btw: just going on what others have said...i.e. KB and the hp tuners forum, and so far so good!
