Default full boost

Question, when do you reach full boost? My boost starts in at about 3000 and reaches 12lbs at about 4500, is that good? I think using dual 2 1/2 has made it spool slower. I was just curious how much lag your supposed to have. I am looking at a 2800 stall, what is a good one? I am running a GT67 with .96 exhaust housing.

That's about what mine is with a 4.8 and a MP T-70 with a .68 housing. The T60-1 would spool about 500-700- faster, but the 70 feels stronger when it does spool.

I was talking with an old mud racer and he said to run NOS on the intake of the turbo, and point the nosel directly at the impellers. NOS is discharge at 900psi and spools it right up. We also talked about using an air fitting on the exhaust to spool it faster, down side to that is you have to carry an oxygen tank. Has anybody heard about this or tried either?

The stall will make it spool up much faster.

Why would i want to upgrade? Wouldn't faster spooling be a good thing?

It will spool faster, but it would run out of breath up top.

I guess it would if you excited its power rating, which i probably will since its rated for 780HP max and i figure in the real world that is 600HPmax... If i need to upgrade i will, don't mind the idea of a bigger turbo...
