fuel tank????
#1
i have been talking to trick about a new fuel tank, and i should be hearing back from him soon on a price.. he had said that i could just put a bulkhead fitting in my stock tank and let the pump feed from there.. now the ? is has anyone done this. if so where did you put it..Should it go in the back of the tank at the rear of the truck aboud an 1" or so off the bottom? or the front of the tank? was thinking that if it was at the front of the tank then if might suck a little air on a low tank. but i dont run it that low anyway. and if i do its just driving around or on an open road.
so if that is the case i should be able to put he fitting in and just block of the on on the pick up tube...the sending unit would be the same and the return would still go in the top of the tank like it is now in to the bucket....
let me know what yall think....o and i pick up the motor and its in the truck should finsh it up tonight or so.....ill have some pic up soon...

It's feeding a pump that only runs when there's boost, so the fitting will always be submerged because when the fuel sloshes forward when I let off of the gas, the pump will be off.
