Has anyone tried to run a Bosch 044 pump inline with a Walbro 255 feeding it out of the tank?

Tryin to figure out a way to do a simple fuel system on my buddys truck for E85. Goin with a 76mm turbo and see how much boost it will run before it runs out of injector or pump on a 5.3

 

I did. It was maxed out on a stock LQ4 with 9 psi boost.

Simple would be nice, but you're going to need complicated to run moonshine and boost.

Thinking about seeing if he will try to run the Bosch 044 in tank and run it off a HOBBs switch and let the Walbro do most the work till he gets up in boost pretty good. Think that would be a better idea?

 

Turn on the second pump at 1 psi and he will be well into boost before it takes effect.
