Default Fuel pump/Fuel system questions

What are you guys running? I'm still running on stock pump and fuel pump control module. I'm dropping about 10psi right now with TVS2300 running 16psi. Though as the weather cools off pressure will drop more. Can I do someting with the fuel pump only? Or do I need to do something with the whole system? I'm returnless now so I'm assuming that will change too.
I've searched around and the whole system runs around 1950 from vendors.
Not really liking that idea at the moment.

Your pretty limited with a returnless system. If you must use the stock fuel tank, bite the bullet and do a twin intank by lonnies/nasty with a regulator and throw away the stock lines and rails. Wire it up with 2 complete circuits using at least 10ga wire and twin relays wired directly to the back of the alt. That with some 60's and you should be safe. If you don't have meth, that might would be a bad idea either. Don't waste your money on a BAP.

I ran a single 255 intank (returnless) for a long time on my truck with 60's and a meth kit with one m15 cranked all the way up. I was able to get the motor to live, but ve fueling adjustments became a joke at 15 psi. IDC was up around 120% and I was loosing around 15psi of fuel pressure at WOT. Not sure if anybody has been faster than 10.96 @ 126 mph with a returnless setup on a 4500+lb truck, but if you can find someone maybe they can give you more insite than I can.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Haven't really given this a lot of thought and not sure what the inputs to the stock pump controller are but, what about splicing in a second stock flex fuel pump/bucket with independent wiring and controlled by an electronic FMU (e.g. Aeromotive)? The outputs from the pumps would be Y'd together before the tank outlet. May or may not have to block off the regulator on 1 of the buckets. The FMU would be better than a Hobbs switch because the pump would be running all the time and the venturi/siphon system would keep the bucket filled regardless of the fuel level in the tank.

I would like to see pictures of your setup if you have any.

convert to return, i had to also

my set-up:
255 intank
-8 feed lines
bosch 044 inline
aeromotive boost ref regulator
fast rails
72lb injectors
-6 return

i just had to take out the little black regulator/filter that was in the bucket and drill a hole on top for the return line to dump

i am running lonnies performance dual in tank 255 with hobbs switch and dual -06 feed lines coming from a y at the fuel filter. luckily, 2003 is a return style fuel system.

it was about $1200 in parts. ah.....the joy of trying to go faster.
