Default Fuel pressure dilemma.

Ok, I have just spent the last two hours reading the search column for fuel problems. My eyes are bleeding so I will just ask. I have an intank 255 pump. Under boost, say 5 psi the pressure is at 62 or so ,but as soon as I hit wot the pressure drops off and my wideband confirms by going lean to about 13 or so before I lift. When I was putting my fuel pressure gauge on I went to bleed the system down, but there was no pressure to bleed off. The truck starts easily with no problems. The truck was sitting a day or so before I put the gauge on. Is that normal for it to bleed down by itself? The fuel pressure stays good until I get to wot then blaaaaaaaaaa, it starts to take a dump. Any ideas? It is an 03. Could it be a voltage problem? I think the pump could be going out, just want more ideas.

you could try a new filter.

do you have over 1/4 of a tank, some people experience this with the fuel pump swap running less then 1/4 tank.

Should I put the stocker back in for now or just get another 255? Not a daily driver so no worries there.

The stock pump should have been fine at that point.

Then I wont bother putting the stocker back in, I dont want to have to change it again so I will just buy another 255. The fuel pump would also be the reason it was not holding pressure at the rail, correct?

I've know some that have ran the stock pump on Radix'd 6.0L's and didn't run out of pump.
