Another advantage of the turbo is that I don't have to buy headers, which will save a lot. Overall the turbo seems more cost efficient, but if it doesn't make for a good DD, it wont mean anything.

if i had to do it all over again,, i would. Only thing i would have changed is goin straight to a 4L80E. and i luv my turbo

I tow alot with my truck so the turbo helps and doesnt create near the heat of a blower or heat soak.

But i dont see how goin with a blower would be bad,, just goin to heat soak and got to get rid of belt slip.

I love my radix, and it seems to pull just as hard if not harder after 60mph than before. Whisper quiet when I'm not on the gas, then it just pulls when I hit the gas at any speed. Never driven a turbo truck, so I cannot speak to that.

what size turbo do you think is best for a 6.0 as DD in regards to minimal lag and easy spooling?

depends on your boost limit... if all you want to run is 6psi then a lil 60mm would be all you need... 10psi - look into a 67 or 70mm.. 14psi and look into a 76mm.

you dont want to get too small of a turbo but then again you dont want to get one thats too big..

its all a vicious circle.

So I guess the 70mm would be best in terms of fast spool and total boost capabilities. I wouldn't be going over 10 psi with a stock shortblock and my compression anyways lol.
