Thats a hell of an idea. I've been using 3m tape. Its .065 wall or 16g I believe.

They arent too bad to weld. I kinda like it. Its a break from the noise of grinders.

Here's one I did for my daytona

That's going to be a sweet ride.

As far as the stock low end / compression, if he adds a meth kit he can probably turn it up to 10psi or maybe 12. I ran my stock fuel pump up to 12psi, but that was too much, even with the meth (dropped fuel pressure and got knock no matter what I did). With the FMIC and meth, 12 should be easy. That's way more than the tranny can handle, though.

My stock 65E lasted 3 months I think, but it was 5psi, 7psi, 8psi, 10psi, 11psi, 12psi... Wow I need a fuel pump. Hmm, i wonder why its so sluggish? Gee, that smells like toasted tranny.

edit: holy hell you put 12psi threw stock everything!? That actually makes me kinda glad. I thought we where gonna have to hold back alot more than that.

Alot of stuff arived today. The turbo is scheduled to arive tomarrow. The fuel system is coming together. Its going to be twin in tank walboro's coming out as a pair of -6, the into a Y block converting to -8, threw the filter up to the rising rate FPR then into a set a Areomotive rails. I'll get pics of that stuff tomarrow.

For now I have the drivers side header almost finished. Just one more pipe that has to go underneith the steering shaft. The nice thing so far is that every header bolt can be hit straight on by a socket. I'm going to need to change 1 spark plug boot though. Don't worry there will be some heat shields going up around the vitals.

as much boost as it takes to break everything. Probably about 12 boost units.

Hot side just about done.

more fuel system going in. Two -6 lines coming out of dual in tank pumps merge into -8. Fed ex skrewed us over so no fuel filter untill next week.
