Default Forced induction = what displacement?

Been curious about this for a while now so from what I found on the Internet does this sound correct ?

using this equation...

9 psi + 14.7 = 23.7
23.7/14.7 = 1.61
1.61x 5.3 = 8.5L

just seems weird

There are a lot of corrections necessary. Starting with cylinder air mass and factoring in parasitic loss would be a start.

true - ya when I found this late last night it was for turbo setups. I'll have to figure the air mass out later after work

this calculation was for below 2000ft sea level

not sure what you asking.
simple math for ever 15psi you double the cubic inch..
7.5 psi would be x 1.5 cubic inch.

There are so many other factors that this is not very useful information. Don't worry about it. Just boost it and have fun.

just came across a forum that was saying that so many pounds of boost does X amount to your displacement. They also had their equations how to break it down to how much horsepower that is over baseline. Figured I'd ask a question on this forum seeing that I'm on here almost every day. It was it just a thought to ask. I understand there's other variables on the situation I was just seeing if anybody has figured it out.

Pressure doesn't mean all that much. It's more about flow

Oh gotcha. There is no real world X psi = X hp.
Since psi is just resistance to flow.

The simple math I listed is solid comparing cubic inches.
But just because you double cubes does not mean you double HP.
