buying a 2006 envoy (aluminum 5.3) any body out there with force induction on 1 .not enough room for turbo looking to do a maggie or whipple something small .

 

They are the same engine thats in the Tahoe and silverado 2007+.

Its fine with boost... you have great heads on there already. My one concern would be the DOD. Delete that **** and go to a boost friendly cam and you will have a monster on your hands.

Nope. You can tune it out... but then you still have the weaker DOD lifters in there. I guess its better than letting them leak down all the time, but still a weak point.

 

My ECSB was an aluminum 5.3 at 14 psi, it made lots of power & ran hard. It's in my wife's Yukon now.

 

my '11 is boosted and changed the lifters along with the cam at the same time
