When I bought my yank converter I told them which flexplate I was using and they put the right cover on the converter. Im using the 60e flexplate.

Is yours a single or multi disk? He said they do that for single disks, but not multi disks.

Maybe if I had it restalled a few times, im sure it could be made to work. PTC just made more sense to me in my case. Nothing against yank.

I'm running a TCI 399753 with my PI multi disc and 80e. While not normal for our application or inexpensive it was needed to run the tc that I bought with the 80e. At almost 300bucks it somehow seemed cheaper than buying a different converter at the time. Anyway it appears to be nicely built and is SFI approved for whatever thats worth.

One more source for SFI 29.2 approved LS flex-plates is J.W. Performance Transmission Inc. They have them available in the typical 168 tooth 6-bolt crank LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, Truck engine configuration under part number 93019-LS-D. They have one for the 168 tooth 8-bolt crank LSA, LSX configuration under part number 93019-LSA-D. Last but not least they finally one available for the 168 tooth 9-bolt crank LS9 configuration under part number 93019-LS9-D.
