Hey all,
What do you all run or recommend? I'm running a Yank 2800 converter with the maggie pushing about 12# all said and done... I'm trying to follow in the footsteps of the rest of the maggie guys who have had their trucks running 11's. I think that means I'll need close to 600 to the wheels.

I'm running a TCI 399753 with my PI multi disc and 80e. While not normal for our application or inexpensive it was needed to run the tc that I bought with the 80e. At almost 300bucks it somehow seemed cheaper than buying a different converter at the time. Anyway it appears to be nicely built and is SFI approved for whatever thats worth.

One more source for SFI 29.2 approved LS flex-plates is J.W. Performance Transmission Inc. They have them available in the typical 168 tooth 6-bolt crank LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, Truck engine configuration under part number 93019-LS-D. They have one for the 168 tooth 8-bolt crank LSA, LSX configuration under part number 93019-LSA-D. Last but not least they finally one available for the 168 tooth 9-bolt crank LS9 configuration under part number 93019-LS9-D.
