Hey all,
I'm getting ready to drop my trans again and I figured this time around I might as well swap out to a better flex plate. I currently run the stock 80e plate with the spacer, but I think we all know that can become a bit of a weak point.
What do you all run or recommend? I'm running a Yank 2800 converter with the maggie pushing about 12# all said and done... I'm trying to follow in the footsteps of the rest of the maggie guys who have had their trucks running 11's. I think that means I'll need close to 600 to the wheels.

I was running in the 11's before I sold the procharger and was running just the factory 80e flexplate. I broke one 60e flexplate and egg shaped the holes on another before doing the 80e swap. Havent had any problems from the 80e plate though.

Another TCI here; 4l60 version (399753) with no spacer and a 60 to 80 conversion converter. It has been in service since my 4l80 conversion in 2008 and I saw no signs of stress when recently removed for my engine r&r. I see they now offer a 80 specific plate, 399754, if you are using a 4l80 converter mated to a short crank.
