Default First time at the track with whipple.

I made it out to the track tonight for the first time in my Yukon Denali. I am still figuring out how to launch my truck so its not close to perfect yet but its getting a little better. Im making 381trq and 365rwhp. I am only running 7lbs. of boost and I am going to up it soon to about 10lbs. I figure my weight is around 6500-6600. I have three batterys, 24in wheels that weight 400lbs. with tires, and around 3-400lbs of stereo equipment. Temps were around 75 and very humid.

My first run i ran 14.70 @94.61, 60ft - 2.2358. My second run was 14.8 @93.46, 60ft 2.657.

My last run was the best with 14.45 @95.01, 60ft. 2.1857.

What do you guys think of my times considering my weight? With more practice do I have potential for 13's?

Can you take the subs out at the very least? Do that and get some lighter track wheels and 13's should come easily? Are you launching in 4wd? You should be able to 60 ft in the the 2.0 range with the right tire pressure in 2wd, but 4wd would give you 1.8's I would think.

with your handicaps (weight, wheel diameter, etc.) your times seem appropriate. Practice launching and you'll get closer to 13's.

not bad at all... if it makes you feel better my old porsche cayenne turbo only got to 13.8 @102 and that was doing a full boost launch. It had cold air intakes and cat back exhaust...

Actually I had the truck converted to 4x4 so I can switch to 2wd. These runs were all in 2wd.

How much better would my times be if I ran with my stock 17's do you guys think I woul

Based on your info punched into an online 1/4 mile hp calculator, and then the same except for 100 extra HP for changing your wheels.
