First Pulls on dyno with rear-mount
#1
After a couple months Building my rear-mount system truck only made 300 hp and 350 tq. Its a 06 5.3 rcsb. Turbo Im running is a 67mm comp technology with .81 ar. Its the oil-less turbo that cools of the engine's coolant. Have a non turbo friendly cam 112 lsa. longtube headers which im going going to switch back to manifolds. Have precision wastegate with 9.4 spring right now. Truck is barely pulling 6 pounds and takes forever to spool to that. Hopefully after wrapping my manifolds and exhaust It will spool better. I also Have the wastegate hooked directly to the turbo which I will be changing. Little disapointed but at least its a start and I can drive the truck now.

Is wrapping the hotpipes really that beneficial? I dont have mine wrapped, and have been wondering how much of a difference it would make. I can tell a big difference in spool time when the pipes are hot versus when they are cold.
