For everyone's info I was spinning 8lbs with a 2.8 pulley with some soft #'s. Slowhawk just installed the overdrive pulley and now we're up to 10-11lbs. Everyone seems to feel the 122 likes to be spun up hard, so lets see what my rwhp/torq and IATs do now! I got the new thermostat and meth in so as soon as it gets off the dyno I'll update my thread!

Latest: with overdirve installed, 2.8 pulley and meth....IAT's ramped up to ~170* on the hway and 190* on the dyno. Power is respectable down low and we're peaking around 480torq/430rwhp @ 5200rpm. We're gonna pull some timing to get the IAT's down and I'm gonna stop spending money for a while . Its got gobs of power out of the hole, and it'll be a great hway cruiser - which is exactly what I set out to do from the start. I shud have it back tomorrow hopefully, and I'll update pix and SOTP impressions. I'll do my best to slaughter a few locals between stop signs . Thnx to Slowhawk @ DezRacing and George @ ICS for their help. R/

hey man, thanks for the update. i just don't understand the numbers your putting down though. those are almost the exact same numbers wkdivr put down on his stock internal 5.3l with a m112 and 3.1 pulley only he was over the 500rwtq mark. oh well, they are only numbers and as long as your happy who gives a flying **** right? happy motoring.

I'm pretty sure its the cam thats a little too tame...heads are good IMO. I'll drive it a few months, head back up for a tune update, make some passes, ...etc. The 4L80 is definately taking lots of ponies as well. I'm certainly not content with the #'s, but I can't drive my klunker anymore!

Blower pulley and crank pulley both changed...blower is a 2.8, still haven't got specs on the crank yet. Meth helped, but as its the Snow kit I can't run 100% meth, so might have been better with AC...I doubt it wuda had a big enuf impact to make me feel like it was worth what I've spent tho! Suda just done cam and heads on my 5.3/MP112 - 10% of the build time/30% of the cost and same result! Or maybe I shuda fot with the 4L60, but I opted for reliability....
