Well I got my Procharger kit for 3600 OTD couple years ago. If I would have spent over 5000 I would have went with a Radix Kit alot more DD friendly.

You can put a 3000 stall, 4:10's, 42lbs.injectors, custom tune, and built tranny and you will enjoy the Procharger Kit.

My truck made 423 rwhp & 425 rwtq with a 5.3l, P-1sc, Longtubes, Dual Flowmasters, 3:73's, 38 lbs. injectors, custom tune, and 2600 stall.

do the new truck kits come w/ larger injectors as well?

Ok now I see what you are talking about. No, the new kits don't use the FMU. They just come with a boost-a-pump inline fuel pump and a Diablo Sport handheld for the tune. I ordered my kit with out the handheld and got my truck dyno tuned. They don't come with injectors but I went ahead and upgraded to 42lb'ers any how. Wish I would have went to 60lbs first time but o well live and learn.

I know mines a D1 but just for comparison. When I put the D1 on the only other thing I had done was a custom 4" cat-back, 42lb injectors and a 255lph intank pump. It made 440 rwhp. I wasn't able to see how long the stock tranny would last as it burned the No. 7 piston up in less than 500 miles. So be very careful with the tune. I had mine tuned at MTI here in Houston, guess the tune was a little off. Anyway, the truck was alot more fun even with the lag it had from lack of converter and gears. Don't be discouraged, you get a cool factor with the procharger since everyone and their grandma has either a radix or a turbo.

Prochargers for life member.

yep, I've never had any slippage, but hope to turn up the boost later and put her to the test.
