Look again at the belt setup on that thing....looks like they moved the alternator to the a/c drive belt. Interesting.

And the ac/alt belt appears to be a 6rib.. Thats allot of belt. Kudos to GM for not using a 6rib to drive the blower..

Anyone notice the blower pulley looks to be a pressed on type of deal? Looks like they are trying to make it tougher for people to put on a different pulley. Wonder if there is any sorta tamper device built in that "breaks" if you mess with the pulley? NO WARRANTY CLAIM FOR YOU!!!!

Oh snap! Anyone here see easy 12 rib belt swaps becoming a possibility for the trucks? No need for custom crank, water pump, p/s pump or idler pulleys anymore!

Kinda looks like there's a cap that comes off the end. You can see little holes in it. Maybe it's keyed and has a special tool required to remove it?

Maybe some of the idlers would work on a truck but, the crank wouldn't work since the vette accessories are much shorter.

Yeah, I noticed the holes but, thought maybe they were where the pulley was pinned to the shaft, maybe a grub screw? Tough to tell from the pics.
