Just a quick question on this cam, he has it and wants to run it, it is a comp 224/230 581/592 114. I don't know how to spec a cam for FI so asking you guys

Who is he and what setup is the cam for?

 

If its a turbo setup, run whatever cam you like, the turbo doesnt care.

If its a blower, 115+ lsa and a few degrees exhaust bias would work fine.

 

I mean it will work, BUT we need more info of the setup lol.

 

Its going into a rcsb 5.3 with a front mount 76mm, 3.42s 80e, 2800 stall, 80lb injectors

 

Do you feel it's sound advice to recommend running what ever cam they like on a turbo setup?

 

With a 2800 stall I would keep it smaller. Maybe like one of stock48's 212's
