Default expandafoam in fenders with supercharger install

Hi,

Noticed in my mp90 instructions to remove air box and fill fender with expandafoam through a small hole that is there from the factory, What is the point of this? Does it have to do something with deadening sound? from the whne?

Yeah, it's to deaden the whine. I didn't do it on my MP112 install, and the noise was not bad at all. I would recommend not doing it and see if the noise is objectionable. If you do it, and later need access to that area, that foam will be the devil to remove, as it is very tough (basically Gorilla Glue with some fizzy stuff added).

I dont mind the whine, I'm just getting false knock associated with the whine so i'm thinking of trying it out to see if it helps anything
