Default draw through MAF with turbo

Anyone running this? I am still fighting with a blow through maf tune, and had decided to go SD, but talking with a local tuner he advised against an SD tune due to our local drastic elevation and temperature changes. (Canada, mountains). He suggested a draw through MAF setup. Since I have the 5 pin sensor, could I do a draw through setup with the two temp wires ran to the intake/aftermarket IAT sensor? Thanks.

As long as you have a BOV routed back into the cold side pipes after the MAF, you'll be good.

Well, put it pre turbo, and the driveability issues disappeared. Idles great, no hiccups, never took it too far cuz it's running lean, but so far so good. Didn't have the bov in for testing purposes, so I guess I'll have to figure that out. Oh and I no longer have 2nd gear, 3rd slipping real bad.

And to think I had a perfectly good, reliable truck before I started all this.

Hmm...did you recalibrate for the MAF relocation? Thats especially important for a few reasons, one being that the trans references the MAF for torque calculations to decide what line pressure to deliver.

No I haven't, it's all still on a BB starter tune.

Also, was the post turbo MAF on a straight section of piping? Turns in the piping close to a MAF can really screw with it.
