Default Exhaust ?'s for my Radix

Well as the title states I have some questions about the exhaust system on my truck and whether its large enough. It is currently all stock 6.0L pipes right now. I think that they are 2.75 to the muffler and then the shrink down to 2.5 duals. Is this going to flow enough? The muffler back portion has numerous bends that are not mandrel, just compression bends. I don't plan on racing the truck except for the Hemi's at the stop light. I mostly wanted the extra power for towing. I have been contemplating a set of Pacesetters and 3" pipes all the way back, but I don't want the extra cost if it isn't necessary. Also I have seen Moregrip's setup, but I dont know if I could fit the 3" pipes since I dont have the HD frame rails. Any suggestions?

economical choice would be magnaflow muffler and tail pipe or dual t/pipes.
you could do dual in/out muffler and 2 t/pipes or dual in/single out and one tail pipe.definitely sound and flow better.

I have a true dual 3" on mine. My cross over is right infront of the tranny both pipes run down the passengers side. It is a tight fit and will require some bends to get around all of the crossmembers without making some clearance on the pipes,,,,ie ball peen hammer.........dont recomend doing that either...............You are going to have to spend some $ if you want something like that with mandrel bends so it isnt going to be the most economical choice. I was not able to do a set up like moregrips because there is not enough room on the driver's side of the tranny and the fuel lines run through there.

i had the same exact truck you have right now and you have plenty of room under there to do whatever you want...the dual in/single out magnaflow is what i had under mine and i have the same after cat setup under the avalanche right now...it's coming out for a set of pacesetters and single 3" here in the next couple of weeks...

So you are just going to run a single 3" pipe to your muffler? Will that flow enough? I allready have dual 2.75 pipes running to a 2/in 2/out muffler and GM had to flatten out some of the bends to clear crossmembers. Does anyone know of a Y pipe that fits the Pacesetter headers? I could just cut off the collector and save my self a bunch of fab work from the headers to the front of the muffler.

yep.. pacesetter sells the Off road Y that fits right up to their headers... if you have to have cats, you can get them put in the Y for a little extra. cutting off their Y-collector would save some fab work too... thats how I had my true duals for a while.... it honestly wasnt pretty but it ran pretty good. I have a single 3" now.
