EVAP System w/ Boost
#1
What needs to be done with the EVAP system in boosted applications? My intake has two ports that I'm not sure what they do. The first is right behind the TB, and has a solenoid sticking out of it with a plastic line that connects behind the manifold to a metal line. The metal line looks like it goes back to the tank. This is the EVAP correct?
The second line is on the passenger side and runs over to the corner of the engine bay where the AIR pump is. There is another solenoid looking thing on the AIR pump assembly, I have it circled in the second pic. What is this part for? Can I just remove this whole assembly and plug the port on the side of the intake?
Thanks.

IIRC correctly the EVAP stuff is no problem at all and most people leave it as is. I have NO idea about the AIR pump. Maybe look into getting a non AIR/EGR intake mani and delete that stuff.

I actually deleted the AIR and EGR systems already and plugged the exhaust manifolds and the hole in the intake for the EGR. But I left in the AIR pump and the little tube that runs to the manifold on the passenger side until I knew what it was for.

I already tapped into the brake booster line for my vac source. Is the ID of this port large enough? I think it's pretty small like less than 1/8". That's fine for boost gauges and controllers, but is that large enough for a BOV which actually needs to move some air?

I use that port for my boost gauge, bov, wastegate, and progressive meth controller. It works just fine.
