Default Engine Ice coolant??

Has anyone use their coolant in FI heat exchangers or air to water intercoolers? My buddy was telling me that it would drop temps as much as 20degress but not really sure to trust that claim or not. http://www.engineice.cc/automotive/

I have heard of guys using red line water weter mixed with water only no coolant and they seem to think it helps lower there temps. so if the engine ice is anything like the water weter it may help.

Exactly. The running cooler is just marketing. Engine Ice is the same thing as RedLine Water Wetter with the water already added. It will raise the boiling point of your cooling sytem. If that's what you are looking for, save some money and just buy the Redline stuff and add Deionized water front the grocery store.

I tried a few different kinds of stuff like that and i never could tell any difference in temps.

Now if you disconnect your HX and run those lines to your Heater Core and cruise with the AC kicking you can get your IATs well below Ambient. 95* heat i could get my IATs down to the 70s.
