Eboost Street connection

But you said from 0-50 you went from 9.5psi to 13psi. Maybe with your setup the boost controller doesn't have much effect on what boost you will get out of it. Above 60 my boost doesn't go up much at all. I'm going to switch to the 2-port method to squeeze a little more out w/o changing the WG spring.

Got my crossover pipe fixed and back to messing with this controller. Turbosmart wanted me to put the SP1 at 99% and see what it does. I put it at 90 and hit the overboost with 27.4psi. It was set at 23.5psi. Well I put the SP1 at 80 with GP1 set at 3. Boost spiked to 24.4psi and dropped back to around 17psi and held. Wonder how well the OBS setting works. I cleared that setting by almost 1 psi and didn't go into overboost. Set the SP1 to 77 and put GP1 to 10. Tried that and boost spiked to 23.9 psi and dropped backed to about 4psi. I'm thinking about throwing it in the garbage. I can't seem to make it work let alone figure it out.

Yeah, mine hasn't been working as well as I expected either. I'm going to give it some more tweaking though.
I honestly think a lot of the issue stems from the wastegate placement. How it's placed on the KB kits is definitely suboptimal.

I'll probably end up selling it for huge loss. Makes me wonder if any electronic boost controller will work right then?

Actually, when I had my gate there it worked a lot better than where it currently is right under the turbo.

Bottom port referenced with top port open is the usually concensus of what "spring pressure only" is. Although you can just as easily leave the bottom port open as well. Bottom port referenced with top port open will result in lowest boost possible on a given spring.

Its interesting seeing all these problems or poor performance from the eboost street. Mine does exactly what I want all the time. Controller off gives me 6psi, SP1 13psi, and SP2 20psi. Never changes, never overboosts...never an issue. The only difference as I have mentioned before is I run the 4 port boost solenoid instead of the 3 port that it comes with...
