I am just wondering if anyone is running the knock off wastegates off eBay and what you guys think bout them and where can you get springs for them. Thanks

It really depends on your expectations...will it work, alot of guys have reporeted them working great and with a little attention they can/do work.

customer service...dont expcet much.

If you are not comfortable taking a brand new part apart to check it out I would buy a US made gate.

AND some of your system's design will come into play...like if you have a large turbo and want to run low boost you will need to have a gate that can bypass the exhaust flow.

 

I would spend the money and get something like a Tial or similar quality made brand.

 

I'm running an ebay knock off gate, works great so far, boost is solid at 8psi and have yet to see any boost spikes or other issues.
Only problem was I originally got the 4-7psi adjustable gate and could only get it to go as low as 8psi, seller gave me a new spring, same deal 8psi. So I just run 8psi now

I ran one and it leaked boost into the exhaust, steer away from ebay wastegates but the cheap BOV's now ill buy them all day long.
