Mine is 4. No trimming on the grille except for that bracket on the back of it

I think mine is a 3 inch core and I had to trim the sides of my grill a little at the corners. No biggie though

So i have my Intercooler now I'm just wondering what kind of bends ill need to make it between the head light and radiator into the engine bay any suggestions? I'm planning on ordering a pipe kit from CX racing since i've heard the best results outta there piping kits.

I used a 2.5 to 3" 90 degree off turbo. From there cut a 45degree pipe attached to a 90 degree coupler straight to the cooler. On the other side of the cooler I had a straight coupler with a real short peice of pipe to another 90 coupler back towards engine bay. Then stuffed a long 90 degree pipe in there. Goes right over pcm and under radiator hose. The another 90 to tb. Pretty simple.

keep in mind i have and sts turbo rear mount so it comes up from the frame rail on the passenger side. I'm thinking i should just order a kit that has 2x 45 90 and 180 degree bends.. u think that will work and ill have plenty of pipe to cut?

So i just ordered a ck racing piping kit/ comes with 3" x2 45/90/180/ degree bends with 2 straight pipes and 90 degree couplers. That should do the job hopefully.
