early model tvs1900 install advice

Default early model tvs1900 install advice

I got an early model TVS1900 with the J tube for a 90mm DBW throttle body that I want to install on my 02 2500HD with a cable throttle. I got the head unit, injectors, rail & J tube only. I already have a dozen questions to try and make the install process as easy as possible. luckily I have an engine on the stand that i can mock everything up on before taking my daily driver down.

Does this blower require a special valley cover, or valley cover bolts or will the stock VC & bolts work?
Can I still buy the accessory bracket with tensioner, idler and blower snout support?
what the heck is the can on the side of the fuel rail (picture below)? i'm guessing fuel filter for nitrous kit but i havent dug in at all.
do i need a new coolant cross-over for the front of the heads, or will the stocker work?
any tips, tricks or shortcuts to the install? I read something about a bolt behind the valley cover, but couldnt figure out what they were talking about.
suggestions on cheap cooling system? heat exchanger/pump/tank/ whatever else is needed.

I've read a few times that the J-tube style TVS1900 is not as a direct swap as the front inlet style. if anyone is familiar with the J tube style tvs1900 installs please let me know what you had to do to make things work. I hate to reach out to the seller bugging him with questions because he gave me the "hook a brotha up price" and surely doesnt want to deal with it.

It looks a little rough, but it will clean up great. It turns quiet and smooth with zero slack.

sending unit for fuel pressure gauge. unless you're talking about the thing right behind that with the hose and t fitting, which i have no idea what that is.

Looks to be a fuel pressure sender, the black thing attached to the right rear in the pic is the bypass valve which is sharing a vac line with the fuel pressure regulator. As for the valley cover, idk. That’s a really early TVS1900. Pm Dewey he used to have that style.

If it turns out to be too much trouble I'll trade you my D1 and bracket for it

I'm mostly intersted in down low torque for more grunt to get a 3/4 ton rolling and better towing in the hill country, so the procharger isnt exactly what i'm after. This truck may see WOT once per month.

its pullied down and got a wastegate on it, it should be pretty snappy

anyone know of install instructions for a mp1200 or tvs1900 online? I figure the MP1200 should be close to the old style tvs1900.
