Answer is we pushed every single fuel parameter in the tune. No where near safe and any good tune that looks at the tune says something right away. But I was trying to see what it would do and wanted to warranty my block to get the 6.2 crate block in there. Been holding for 4k miles and drives like factory new. Now that I know stock internals can take much more power I will upgrade the fuel and just make more power. I dropped down to 12psi and still made over 550. There are a few different fuel setups in the works. the expensive low side stuff is nice but I will be running a in tank unit. Still keeps the factory pump and has a boost ref. fuel reg. and that is where the stock fuel and 2nd fuel meet up to go to engine. I was told 1000hp on e85 is fine with biggest injectors and pumps. Also Not a stock E85 sensor. Sounds like more than you need. just go LT4 parts and non E85 add call it good. to 550rwhp on turbo all day.
You are in TX so a external is fine but I think the in tank is cheaper and easier. It just needs a pressure switch to activate a the relay for power. small boost regulators are cheap. and you can get the stock line adapter or cut and tap rear line. E85 add on to non E85 truck is cheap also, gm lines and parts. But that sensor is just a alcohol sensor. the Armageddon kit has a 465 pump. I'm told it works great but don't now price.
Maybe cam and meth are a good option for you say 550hp and meth push you up more. Not bad for price
I'm not a huge fan of the roots chargers for the most part. They do have there place but also there down falls. I get 20mph average on highway with huge heavy wheels in a crew cab heavy truck. Idles stock drives stock( other than shift pattern, still have track tune in it). I wanted to start a post to ask supercharged 550+hp guys what mpg they get.

I need to digest this and give it some thought.

I know a lot of info and I jumped all over the place with info.
If you have a goal of power and fuel type let me know and If I can give you the info I will.
I understand not wanting to spend over 5k on fuel. the highest flow injectors and HPFP is like 5k then the biggest low side is $1800. But lt4 parts are cheap. and so is some low pumps.
Meth is cheap that is why we see sooooo many people just going with that. cam with higher fuel is nice but at a point you max low side anyways.

I really appreciate the input. I'm thinking I would like E85 as opposed to meth for reliability reasons. I know I can run more boost and timing on this. I think the ZO6's are hitting at least low mid 600's when converted to E85 so I would think maybe low mid 500's with the 5.3 with E85 and a pulley change? Of course I may do a 6.2 at a later date so I would think LT4 hpfp and injectors but sounds like the flex fuel pump won't keep up even with the 5.3. So...what low side I guess for maybe 650ish 700 tops for the future. Don't want to go to a 4l80 and don't know if an 8 spd is an option so to stay within the limits of the 6l80 on a DD will be important. Hope I made sense.

Trans are good for that power from what I have seen. Stall converters not so much. I agree with you on the E85 over meth. I went back and forth a hundred times and like you settled on E85. My warranty crate engine is a 6.2L but may never use it still don't know if I ever will. I can't answer or give details on my low side yet, If they release the kit to the public I would be happy to post info. But start searching and you will see there are may ways to add a 2nd pump. as well as bolt in kits as well as just pumps and you make up everything else.
Do you tune your own truck? If so I would say buy the cheap LT4 parts and see how far it gets you. I'm thinking 550rwhp maybe a little more depending on how aggressive you get with fuel.
I'm seeing about a perfect 12.0 afr in wot. It drops to 11.6 or so for a millisecond at first but then clean 12.0 in the pull. So I have good fuel. Again non E85.

I’m just reading this and taking it all in but Fastproms has videos on you tube of his wife’s Escalade he built. With the LT4 blower and with cam, his ported heads, LT4 HPFP, E85. He made something like 645. I know it’s a 6.2. But just LT4 HPFP and I’m not sure about the injectors seem pretty strong

i can find the videos if you want.

If it's not much trouble I would love to see them. I can search if not. Thanks!
