My tubing is pretty thin, maybe .063 or 1/16". Its the tubing they sell in the kits on Ebay. Seem like pretty good kit except for the hose clamps which imditching for some t-bolts.

Okay, hope you guys arent getting sick of pictures yet. Here are some of the completed oil cooler and custom bracket I made to hold it. It worked out perfectly.

here is the bracket....

Here are some shots of the cooler installed. There are 2 smaller 90* clips down below that hold the cooler to the bumper clips to keep it from moving......

Gettin closer, to be continued.......

LOL....I can do you one better and just post the drawing and measurements... Made it out of a piece of 2"x3" aluminum angle. Took about 10 minutes to make and 30 minutes to paint.

WOW You better get the 12lb pulley out. Don't forget to get a smaller belt. Im betting on mid to high 12s with a good tune.

LOL i hope you are talking about yourself....cause the only way this truck is going to see 12's is if i have a 70mph running start...LOL. And yes, i have been looking at getting a smaller pulley....one because im anticipating a little boost drop and two because i hope i can get the charge cool enough to justify it.

Okay guys, your gonna have to bare with me here because im a little aggrivated. I spent all day getting the pipe ran (and it was a bitch). Had some very tight spots to deal with but i got it all ran and it looks good. I topped all the fluids off and cranked it for about 30 seconds until i had oil pressure. It started right up and idled a little rough for just a second or two then leveled off and sounded fine. I went out to have a look under the hood while it warmed up and noticed that every single 90* silicone connector i had was pulled almost all the way shut from the vacuum and they are 3 and 4 ply too. I know some people here said to be careful, but i thought i had enough pipe in the 90's that it should be fine.....NOPE. So whats my option now? I dont think i can get away with aluminum 90's because the radius' are to large, thats why i used the silicone ones. Man, what a bummer....i wanted to take this thing for a ride today. After this happened, i turned the radio off with my 1/2" socket wrench and came inside. Nothin like workin all day in 90 degree heat just to end up like this. SO is there a place i can get some really strong 90's? Not sure what to do now......besides cool off......

You know I have been thinkng that some of this may be related to the location of the by pass in the blower. I wonder if the by pass was hooked up between the outlet side of the intercooler if it would make a difference? I will only have one 90 that is silicone and with both pipes in the 90 it CANNOT collapse, now mind you the 90 that I have is different from others in its design. Its hard to describe, Ill get some pics of it. It is a 3" - 2 1/2" 90, if you look in some of the pics in my thread youll see it. I know this doesnt help you, just a thought about the by pass.
