That is just great. I see it as two neighbors that have peeping over the fence so long they have to try it for themselves.

At the go light, I released the brake and applied about half throttle. Wheel spin.....I tried to get out of the throttle, let the tires hook up, and get back into it. I floored it again at prolly 25mph and more tire smoke. I tried to stay in it hoping that it would hook up soon. It didn't. I had to get out of it because I was going from one wall to the other. I didn't hit anything, but I didn't like the way the truck handled. I've since added Hotchkis sway bars.

The bottom line is that it just isn't a drag race truck. The sway bars make it handle much better, but it won't hook up without some sticky fat skins on the back. More traction would = broken parts. If I had to race someone, and my life dependended on it, it would be from a 25mph stomp. I've been around long enough that I don't feel the burning need to prove how fast my toy is. I won't take it to the track again unless I hit the lottery and I can afford to throw a bunch of $ at the drivetrain
Thanks alot for your response, I sure like your setup. Mine is a reg cab 4x4. hmmmm.

I love my radix. I dynoed it with no other mods than a 3.1 pulley a tune and a corsa sport cat back and got 423 rwhp/ 454rwtq. Pretty good for two bolt ons and a tune. Traction is my biggest problem with the instant tq but I figure I will leave it alone with putting 50k on with the radix with a stock tranny (except for servos) and G80.

just comparing the the radix to the sts/trick/livernois kits i think the radix has an edge on reliablity. the componets, fit and finish of the radix are all oem quality. i am not saying the others are junk or will need constant maintanance but i think the radix could be bolted on and ran for many years where all of the turbo kits will need a little more upkeep. most likley small things like a exhaust leaks, header cracking or oil leak. nothing you couldn't fix quick but little problems will come up from time to time.

for me these little problems are nothing compared the the extreme hp potential you can have with a turbo but some people dont like to deal with little problems and just want that extra 100+hp.

How much boost are you running with your set up? I thought mine ran pretty good, but you out hp and torque me by a little with less upgrades to your motor. I'm running about 9 psi with mine.

I don't have a boost gauge so I'm not sure. The type of dyno that was used was a dynojet.

I arrived late to this thread so any input I might have added has already been thrown out by a few people. However for the sake of alot of future newbies who are gonna show up and post up a thread asking this same question maybe one of the mods can make this a sticky?
