As said before, your "tuner" is an idiot.

With the proper scanner config, the idle can be tuned very very easily.

Apparently. Never met the dude... Frankly I trust aftermarket tooners about as far as I can throw them, especially a dude who labels himself Dr..

 

Your " tuner" should start looking for more suitable employment.
Ask if he does drywall.

 

I've had a cabled truck that required a larger hole drilled, but those things came with holes from the factory. The iac just couldnt open enough to supply enough air at idle. I thought the wired stuff should be able to adjust on the fly...
