Tough call... but I gotta go with the turbo at this point.

I haven't heard a maggie in person at 6200 rpm though

 

Turbo, with out a doubt!!! I LOVE that whistle!

it will be interesting to see if a turbo guy pics a blower, or if a blower guy pics a turbo.

My vote is Positive Displacement Blower, to many reruns of The Road Warrior I guess, or maybe it was that blown 67vette I used to see all the time as a kid, or maybe it was that famous movie line "Hit the Blower!" LOL

 

Having owned 2 types of blowers and a turbo I would say on a street car I love the sound of a turbo better BUT a big block with a 10-71 or larger roots style blower takes the cake.

Buddy's big block roots blown Nova (now run 7.60s)

 

There is a white RCSB around here with a 6.0 and a procharger that sounds BadAss. I also l love the sound of boost coming out of a blow off valve...be it from a blower or turbo.

 

centrifugal....I've got a Procharger so I'm hooked on it.

 

The blower sounds kickass, but I could not deal with that much whine all the time. The turbo makes some really awesome sounds other than the whistle, like your wastegate, and the BOV.
When I hear a blower it always reminds me of the gear driven cam a friend of mines Vette had. Cool but too much for me.

 

Why did you switch from the trurbo to a blower?
