i guess main point of test is what works better not makes more power. I don't want to go slower but with more mph I want to ET better. On one hand I'm thinking a smaller turbo will spool quicker but at the track I can footbrake 12psi at 3600 rpm two step with the 91mm so I might also be able to go bigger and make more power since I don't have that sucky of a spool time. However I also drive the truck on the street alot and when I have low boost on it doesnt hit full boost till little over 4k rpm.

We just need to make a sticky of comparisons on t-4 mid frame and t-6 large frame turbo with track times and spool times..... I wil have quite a bit of info soon myself and im also willing to bet that 15#'s of boost on my pt88 wont touch the numbers of my large frame 91 on 15#'s.... yes spool will be slightly affected but should make up for it pretty good on mid though end of pass..

That will be nice info....
But actually, IIRC, the Pt88 and GT91 have the same size exhuast wheel
The gain should come from going from t-4 flange to the t-6..

My 91 hit 9.8 on 18 psi and ran out of time and fuel to push it further but it showed no sign of stopping and was gaining 2 mph and dropping a tenth with every turn of the boost controller. 00z71 had tranny problems on same day but I believe he's gone 10.5@ 14psi. Im happy with 91 but just want to try a smaller one for comparison. The smallest I've tried was a gt88.

Well I can't/won't complain to much, but I am looking forward to having a "built" setup some day. However, till then i'll just take notes from you guys...

On 12-13 psi, I have gone 10.5 @ 130mph in 4495DA, pump gas, 3 psi launch...
I am still playing and learning my setup to see what it likes better.

Once I get everything and launch dialed in, I hope to hit a low 10sec pass on 12-13 psi, Then its going up to 20psi and I'll see where that take me

I also have a new tranny with transbrake on the way.

I need to wiegh my truck with new setup.
